Crestview gets fourth straight victory 56-39

NEW MIDDLETOWN -- Brianne Phillis scored 20 points, had five assists and nine steals to lead the Crestview High girls to a 56-39 victory over Springfield Monday in a non-conference game.
The Rebels (4-0) got 12 points apiece from Elyse Mongillo and Chelsea Bowker, who had six rebounds.
Springfield (1-2) was led by Mindy Ritcler who scored nine points. Samantha Cavalier pulled down six rebounds.
Mathews 57, Western Reserve 48
VIENNA -- Sophie Paddock tossed in 19 points and Lauren Roscoe added 17 as Mathews won for the second straight game.
Sarah King added 10 points as the Mustangs took an early lead and then held off the Blue Devils.
Saleena Niehaus paced Western Reserve (0-2) with 19 points.
McDonald 83, Bristol 17
MCDONALD -- Ashleigh Tondo scored 19 points, Emily Dolsak 17 and Amy Dolsak 15 to lead McDonald (3-0).
Emily Dolsak grabbed nine rebounds, Tondo eight and Amy Dolsak six, while Tondo also had nine assists and five steals and Amy Dolsak five assists and four steals,
Ashley Fiest had five points for Bristol.
Grand Valley 45, Badger 40
GRAND VALLEY -- Kelly Wagner scored 12 points and Halle Zakowski added 10 to pace the Mustangs (1-1).
Rachel Gaines led the Braves (0-2) with 13 points. Samantha Bonar finished with 10.
LaBrae 40, Southington 28
LEAVITTSBURG -- Morgan Briscoe had 10 points and three steals to lead LaBrae (1-0). Maddie D'Orio added seven rebounds for the Vikings.
Lisbon 59, Jackson-Milton 36
LISBON -- Emily Smith poured in 22 points and Erica Sims scored 19 points for Lisbon (3-0).
Smith and Sims were supported by Caitlyn Glenn with 13 points.
For Jackson-Milton (2-1), Megan Witmer and Eliz Hughes scored nine points apiece.
