Carr's career-high 25 lead Grove City



GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Shawn Carr scored a game- and career-high 25 points, and Grove City College rallied from an early 11-point deficit to defeat Juniata, 63-60, Monday night.
Carr (Mohawk) was 7-for-11 from the field, including 4-of-7 on 3-pointers, and made all seven free throws he attempted. He was the only player to score in double figures for Grove City (2-3), which shot 48.7 percent (19-of-39) but committed 24 turnovers.
Travis Boyd scored 12 points for Juniata (5-3), which led 16-5 early in the first half, but lost to the Wolverines for the third straight time.
Case Western Reserve 84, Thiel 58
CLEVELAND -- Thiel team shot just 27 percent from the field to lose for the fourth time in five games.
Case Western (5-1) shot 50.9 percent from the field and finished with a 58-26 advantage in rebounds. Funso Lafe paced the Spartans with 18 points, while Carson Oren added 11 points and 15 rebounds. Tyler Rodriguez chipped in with 16 points and six boards.
Jason Manningham led the Tomcats (1-4) with 12 points. Manningham made 4-of-5 on 3-pointers. Joe Herrmann added nine points and four rebounds.
Thiel led 24-15 midway through the first half before Case Western went on a 24-4 run to finish the period.
