Book will help you wrap gifts in style

WASHINGTON POST
For presents that look like they came out of your personal wrapping room, "Presentations: A Passion for Gift Wrapping" ($29.95, Broadway Books, 207 pp.) may get you started.
Carolyne Roehm, fashion designer turned domestic stylist ("At Home With Carolyne Roehm," "A Passion for Flowers"), organizes designs seasonally using luxe papers, heirloom-grade ribbons and flowers, fresh and dried; results look as though there should be something a heck of a lot nicer than a three-pack of tube socks inside.
Oddly, the book's list of suppliers doesn't include Roehm's own Web site (www.carolyneroehm.com), where you can purchase gift-wrapping kits and materials from the book. At about $5 per sheet of paper, however, you may want to pop for some ribbon -- a relative steal at about a dollar a yard -- and use it to gussy up some drugstore wrap.
