Man shot 5 times, hospitalized

YOUNGSTOWN -- A Boardman man remained hospitalized late Sunday after having been shot five times the night before.
Police found Majeed Bazazpour, 41, of West Boulevard semi-conscious about 8 p.m. Saturday outside Mike's Beauty Shop, 2906 Glenwood Ave., on the city's South Side. Police didn't say whether Bazazpour was affiliated with the business. He was bleeding from the nose, mouth and legs after being shot once each in the right foot, right thigh, left groin area and below the left and right knees, police said.
Police also found the cellular phone from which the victim called 911, a report shows.
Because of his condition, Bazazpour was unable to provide a description of his attacker, and it was undetermined what type of firearm was used, the report says.
Officers found a blood trail that went from where the victim was found to near the rear door of the business; police also found a set of keys believed to belong to the victim.
Nearby, police found Bazazpour's green Ford F-150 truck with its engine running and doors locked. Bazazpour was in stable condition Sunday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Center, and police had no suspects.
