The Wildcats took a 41-37 lead with Elliott's 23-yard pass over the middle to Brad McKechnie early in the fourth quarter.
After Beaver's touchdown run put the Warhawks ahead in the final minute, Linfield got one last chance. When Elliott's desperation pass from midfield fell incomplete in the final seconds, however, the winning streak was over.
