SWIMMING
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- Westminster junior Ryan Trunk set a school record in the 50 freestyle at the Wooster Invitational. Trunk's time was 20.93 in leading off the 200 freestyle relay team. It snapped the old mark of 21.02 set by Jason Kunkle in 1995. The 200 free relay won in 1:25.84, with Trunk joined by senior Kevin Gesacion (Boardman HS), Seth Senior and Steve Burns. Trunk was also the top individual finisher on the first day of competition as he posted a finals time of 21.18 in the 50 free to finish second.
Becky Giles Lady Titan, placing second in the 200 individual medley in 2:11.29.
