Collins scores 25 points in Laurel's victory



CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS, Pa. -- Junior point guard Corey Collins poured in 10 of his 25 points in the second quarter when Laurel High bounced back from a 9-8 first-quarter deficit to win its opener in the Cambridge Springs Tournament, 56-46, over Northwestern, Friday night.
Teammate Tyler Womer, a 5-11 senior guard added 10 points for the Spartans, who play the Greenville-Cambridge Springs winner tonight.
Matt Simon had 25 points for Northwestern.
Sharpsville 51, Cochranton 41
COCHRANTON, Pa. -- Seniors Cory Rice and R.J. Golub had 13 points apiece and junior Jared Summers scored 12 for Sharpsville in the opener for both teams.
Summers also had 10 rebounds for the Blue Devils.
