Tourism board to turn over information

WARREN -- In its final meeting, the Trumbull County Tourism Board made plans to turn over any information it felt would be useful to the new Trumbull County Tourism Bureau, such as minutes of its meetings.
Commissioner Daniel Polivka, who was chairman of the tourism board and who will also be a member of the tourism bureau, thanked members Christ Michelakis and Paulette Godfrey for their service.
The meeting was held Wednesday in the county commissioners' meeting room. Polivka said plans are in the works for the nine other members of the new tourism bureau to be named within a few days.
The new bureau was organized by the Trumbull 100 organization and by Jason Earnhart, assistant Trumbull County prosecutor and legal adviser to the county commissioners.
