Grand jury to hear ex-treasurer's case

AUSTINTOWN -- The case of the former Davis PTA treasurer who is accused of stealing funds from that organization is moving to common pleas court.
Judge David D'Apolito of Mahoning County Area Court here bound the case of Melissa Crago over to a Mahoning County grand jury following a preliminary hearing Thursday.
Crago, 26, of Riblett Road, is charged with felony grand theft over an approximately $2,000 discrepancy in her accounting for the PTA.
Austintown Police charged Crago in October.
