Thiel College will hold Christmas festival

GREENVILLE, PA -- The annual Thiel College Christmas Festival will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the William A. Passavant Memorial Center on the Thiel College campus.
Performing will be the Thiel Choir, the Thiel College Chamber Singers and the Thiel College Handbell Ringers, all under the direction of Dr. Michael R. Bray, professor of music, and the Thiel College Band directed by Jenn Scarem.
The concert, & quot;A Spotless Rose, & quot; will feature hymns, folk songs and spirituals of the Christmas season and include works by Sweelinck, F.M. Christiansen, Vaughan Williams, Herbert Howells and Bach Cantata BWV 61 & quot;Nun komm, der Heiden Heiland, & quot; an advent cantata accompanied with string quartet.
