Man robs woman in parking lot of Mahoning Ave. plaza

AUSTINTOWN -- A woman was robbed in the parking lot at 6007 Mahoning Ave., according to township police.
The plaza at that address includes Wal-Mart, Deals and Sears.
The victim, a 21-year-old Warren woman, told police she was robbed at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday by a man who at first asked her for directions to Lake Milton.
The man grabbed the woman's wallet, told her to kneel down or he would hurt her, then took $256 out of the wallet and threw the wallet on the ground. He drove off in the direction of North Jackson.
The woman reported the man was black, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, 180 pounds, and had short hair and a mustache. He was driving a 1990 two-door red Chevrolet Beretta.
