Fans win if 'Hounds do
Each fan could get a free ticket to the team's Dec. 7 game.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Friday's SteelHounds game against the Lubbock Cotton Kings will be "We Win, You Win" night at the Chevrolet Centre, sponsored by WKBN Channel 27. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
The SteelHounds are guaranteeing a victory and if it happens, every fan in attendance will receive a free ticket of equal or lesser value for the 'Hounds Dec. 7 game against the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees.
"We appreciate our fans and the support we have received from the city overall," SteelHounds general manager George Manias said.
"This is our way of stepping up and rewarding those who have supported us thus far. Our goal is to win on Friday and have our fans come back midweek with some friends and family who have not yet experienced a hockey game or the facility."

Krazy George billed
Professional Sports Cheerleading Icon Krazy George and his drum will be on hand Friday and Saturday night.
Krazy George started as a crowd-pleasing entertainer at San Jose State University in 1968 where he gained notoriety over the next seven years. Then he was hired by Kansas City Chiefs owner Lamar Hunt to add to the atmosphere at one of his National Football League games.
Since then, Krazy George has visited games in the NFL, National Hockey League, Major League Baseball and National Basketball Association games. He also has been summoned to work at minor league games.
The mad man and his drum may be most notorious for being the inventor of "The Wave," which he started at a major league playoff game in 1981.
Gagnon contributes
In three Central Hockey League games since joining the Hounds, Jonathon Gagnon has scored a goal and added two assists.
The 6-foot-1-inch, 198-pound veteran has played in more than 300 professional games, including 144 with the Memphis Riverkings where he won a championship and scored 82 goals with 67 assists in three seasons.
Chris Richards has remained hot throughout most of the season, ranking second in the CHL with 19 assists. Last week, Richards scored two goals and added three assists and helped the 'Hounds to a 7-6 victory over Bossier-Shreveport. Richards ranks sixth in the CHL with 24 points.
Jeff Christian ranks second in the CHL with 27 points.
