Get over it! was the message one blogger had for angry Valley residents.

What in the Barenaked Ladies world of emus and Kraft Macaroni and Cheese is going on?
With the new Youngstown Chevrolet Centre open for business and tickets already on sale for a Barenaked Ladies show Monday, Mahoning County fans woke up a few weeks ago to learn they had been left at the altar by the Canadian alt rock band, which moved its show to Cleveland's Playhouse Square Center.
Ed Robertson attempted to defend the move as a radio station favor, but apparently the band is catching plenty of heat on its blog (bnlblog.com).
Explanation
"Essentially, the show had just gone on sale in Youngstown and a Cleveland radio station, WQAL, had been wanting to do something with us for a long time and said we want to do a Christmas event this year and is there anyway we could make anything happen?
"But with our schedule, there was no way except to move the Youngstown show. So we figured it's only 65 miles, like an hour away and tickets had just gone on sale. We got feedback on our Web site that said people were [irritated]. They were like, 'Now we have to drive another hour and this is a huge drag.'"
However, not everyone in the Barenaked Ladies nation was quick to shoot cyber jaggers at the band. Here's a question from the blog asked by Russ C:
"What happened with the Youngstown show getting moved to Cleveland? You've got people on the message boards all bent out of shape. The cities are only an hour apart! Tell these people to stop being little [expletives] and suck it up. So you get home at midnight instead of 11p.m., boooohoooooo. Are these people 80 freakin' years old or what? If it's that big of an issue, sell your tickets & amp; go to BINGO instead."
Ed's blog reply skated the entire issue: "There was some earlier discussion about how to represent a virtual hug. How do you do a firm grab of the shoulders, and a big kiss on the lips?? !!!! & lt; & lt; & gt; & gt; & gt;Grab & gt; & gt; & gt;!!!! Does the C stand for Cool?"
Considering Barenaked Ladies have been fan friendly since its beginning, its blog site, an open forum of all things "Pinch Me" if you will, beckons for more Youngstown chatter, thus positioning the city as a viable concert site for the band's next tour. Hint, hint!
