Kristen Komara, James Van Tiem to wed Sept. 30

XCANFIELD -- Plans for the upcoming marriage of Kristen Marie Komara, 3744 N. Clifton, Chicago, and James Ryan Van Tiem, 3728 N. Magnolia, Chicago, are being announced by the parents of the bride-elect, Robert and Marlene Komara, 6426 Farmington Circle.
The future groom is a son of James and Maureen Van Tiem, 4070 Watercourse Drive, Medina.
Sept. 30 has been chosen by the couple for their open wedding at 4 p.m. at St. Christine Church, Youngstown. They are extending invitations for their evening reception at Stambaugh Auditorium, also in Youngstown.
Miss Komara is an education specialist with The Resurrection Project in Chicago. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana with a bachelor's degree and from the University of Chicago with a master's degree in social work.
Mr. Van Tiem earned a bachelor's and a master's degree at the University of Notre Dame. He is a senior associate with KPMG, LLP, in Chicago.
