TRACEE BLASKOKENNETH MAXIE
XYOUNGSTOWN -- The wedding of Tracee Blasko of Columbus, daughter of Lawrence and Norine Blasko, 7834 Huntington Circle, Boardman, and Kenneth Maxie of Blacklick, son of Gregory and Brenda Dempsey of Centerville and the late Kenneth Maxie, took place July 23 at St. Christine Church.
Presiding at the 2 p.m. ceremony were Monsignor David Rhodes and the bride's uncle and godfather, the Rev. Joseph Blasko.
A reception was held afterward at Antone's Banquet Centre, Boardman, where a brunch was also held in honor of the couple the next day.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and live in Blacklick.
The bride's strapless sheath gown of pearl silk was enhanced with silver beading and embroidery. She held a bouquet of calla lilies.
Black gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Becky Greene, and the bridesmaids, Beth Malys and Kelly Moritz. Flower girls were Kalee Blasko, the bride's niece and godchild, and Riliegh Lefever, the groom's niece, who wore white dresses, and Brooke Adams, his niece and godchild, and Raelynn Lefever, his niece, in black dresses.
Best man was Robert Coffield, and groomsmen were the bride's brother, Bradley Blasko, and Todd Evans.
The bride earned a degree in managing cosmetology at Ford Beauty Academy and is a hair designer at Charles Penzone Salons in Columbus.
The groom is employed as a fit model for Express in Columbus.
