Hutnyans' 50th to be observed in early October

XYOUNGSTOWN -- St. Michael Orthodox Church will host an anniversary party in honor of the Rev. and Mrs. George Hutnyan, 125 Steel St., who will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of their marriage and of his ordination at the church.
The event will be held by invitation at 1 p.m. Oct. 2 at Antone's Banquet Center in Boardman.
The former Dorothy Gost and the Rev. Hutnyan were united in marriage July 23, 1955, at Christ the Savior Cathedral in Johnstown, Pa.
Mrs. Hutnyan retired in 1998 as a teacher with Liberty Schools. The Rev. Hutnyan has been the pastor of St. Michael's for the past 50 years. The couple are the parents of David N. Hutnyan of Boardman and Nina C. Hutnyan of Canfield, and they have two grandchildren.
