DONNA TAKACSSAMUEL SANTISI
XYOUNGSTOWN -- Donna M. Takacs and Samuel J. Santisi, both of Canfield, were united in marriage during an informal ceremony that took place at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 6 at Cassese's MVR, where a reception was held afterward.
Judge Maureen A. Cronin officiated.
Parents of the couple are Louis and Jo Marie Takacs of Youngstown and Anthony and Carmella Santisi of West Middlesex, Pa.
Serving as the honor attendant was Alexis Guerrieri, a niece of the bride.
The duties of best man were shared by Zachary Takacs and Garrett Guerrieri, the bride's nephews.
Surprising the couple as bridesmaids were Ruthanne Altiero, Debbie Leonard and Jeanne Robinson.
Mrs. Santisi holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Youngstown State University and is an event coordinator-fund raiser for Millcreek Children's Center.
Mr. Santisi, an independent retail grocer, also graduated from YSU with a bachelor's in business administration.
The couple live in Canfield.
