Davy 50th anniversary is celebrated

XLIBERTY TOWNSHIP -- Mr. and Mrs. Bud Davy, 537 Liberty St., were honored Aug. 13 during a dinner party as they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at Alberini's Restaurant in Niles.
Hosts for the festivity were members of their family, Denise and Dave Mancini of Liberty Township, Diane and Kim Rudolph of Toledo, and Buddy and Cheryl Davy of Youngstown.
Completing the family circle are four grandchildren.
The former Dolly D'Antonio and Mr. Davy were married Aug. 20, 1955, at First Christian Church in Girard, where they are members.
Mr. Davy served with the Marine Corps during the Korean War and was the industrial relations manager with American Welding in Warren prior to retiring in 1986. His wife is a homemaker.
