Anniversary dinner held for Mr. and Mrs. Lyons

XBOARDMAN -- The Holiday Inn was the setting Aug. 27 as friends and relatives met for a dinner held to honor Mr. and Mrs. Richard M. Lyons, 860 Edenridge Drive, on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the celebration were the couple's children and their spouses, Richard W. and Terri Lyons and William P. and Carol Lyons, all of Boardman, and Patrick F. and Pauline Lyons of Poland. The family includes 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The former Nancy Lee O'Dea and Mr. Lyons were united in marriage Aug. 27, 1955, at Sacred Heart Church in Youngstown. They are members of St. Dominic Church.
Mrs. Lyons is a cake decorator with Nemenz IGA in Struthers.
Mr. Lyons was a furnace operator with Youngstown Foundry and Wean United in Youngstown prior to retiring.
