XGIRARD -- Robert Versko III and his bride, the former Sarah Marie Massaro, honeymooned on the Hawaiian island of Maui after their wedding at 2 p.m. July 23 at St. Rose Church.
Parents of the bride are Fabian and Maureen Massaro of Girard, and the groom's parents are Robert Jr. and Rose Marie Versko of Uniontown, Pa.
The Rev. J. James Korda presided at the wedding, and a reception was held for the couple at the Grand Pavilion at the Avalon Inn in Howland.
They live in Victoria, Texas.
The bride's strapless A-line gown of white satin was embellished with bugle beads and embroidery and featured a chapel train.
Cotton-candy pink gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Mary Massaro, and the bridesmaids, Christina Chuang, Kelly Creehan, Gina Leskovic, Maggie Acklin, Alison Wilbur and Maria Wright. Flower girls were Chloe Schultz and Natalie Zetts.
Rob Kish served as best man, and groomsmen were James Bish, Brad Kramer, Benjamin Massaro, Zachary Massaro, Dan McKnight and Ken Santucci. Ring bearer was Nathan Zetts.
Mrs. Vresko is a speech therapist with Victoria Independent School District. She graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh with a master's degree in speech-language pathology.
Mr. Vresko graduated from Duquesne with a bachelor's in business administration and is a procurement buyer with Alcoa Inc. in Point Comfort, Texas.
