XYOUNGSTOWN -- A wedding trip to Rome and a Mediterranean cruise to Italy, the Greek Islands and the French Riviera followed the July 23 wedding of Kimberly Ann Leone and Anthony Joseph Carmello at St. Columba Cathedral.
Monsignor Lawrence Fye and the Rev. Joseph Fata officiated for the daughter of Richard Leone of Boardman and the late Valerie Leone and the son of Felix and Joanne Carmello of Canfield.
The bodice and train of the bride's white silk satin gown were embellished with Swarovski crystals, rhinestones and bugle beads.
Petal-pink gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Kathryn Leone, and the bridesmaids, Megan Leone, Gina Vizi, Susan Memo, Amy McAtee, Ryan Dillon, Rebecca Smith, Jianina Josephs and Stacey Nosal. Flower girl was Isabella Leone.
Jason Carmello was best man, and groomsmen were Rich Leone, David Leone, Michael DePerro, Gino Ori, Dominic Barone, James Geskey, Kristopher Sweed and Xavier Staggs. The ring bearer was Dante Leone, and ushers were Robert Coppola, David Massare and Matthew Sleppin.
The couple live in Chicago.
The bride, an English teacher at Oak Lawn High School in Chicago, graduated from John Carroll University in University Heights and is pursuing a master's degree in school counseling at DePaul University in Chicago. The groom, a graduate of Miami University at Oxford, is senior business consultant with Ernst and Young in Chicago and is pursuing his CPA license.
