XThe 9th annual Northside Reunion Committee Scholarship Fund Weekend will begin Sept. 2 at the Mahoning Country Club, 710 Liberty St., Girard. Fellowship time will begin at 6 p.m., and dinner will be served at 7 followed by dancing until 11. Cost is $30. The guest speaker will be Charles (Chuckie) Taylor of Columbus, a classmate in The Rayen School Class of 1969. The annual picnic will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Sept. 3 at Willow Ranch, Hubbard Road. Cost is $5 per car, and those attending should take their picnic baskets. Beverages will be provided, and dinner will be served at 4 p.m. A church service will be held at 11 a.m. Sept. 4 at Berean Fellowship, 1321 Lansdowne Blvd., with the Rev. Samuel Olarewaju officiating. Concluding the activities will be a softball game at 3 p.m. at Evans Field.
