Officials seek 2 days of reduced water usage

LEETONIA -- Village officials are asking water customers to conserve water Wednesday and Thursday.
The conservation is necessary because the village wells will be out of service those days for maintenance, officials said. Customers will be supplied with water stored in the village reservoir, they said. Water will be hauled in to resupply what is used.
"We are asking customers not to use any more water than necessary. The more water we use, the more we have to have hauled in, " said Gary E. Phillips, village administrator.
