Address: Moved to Akron as a young girl and graduated from Central High School before returning to Youngstown.
Employment: G.M. McKelvey Department Store.
Married: To Clare W. Porter on Aug. 27, 1927, for 64 years until his death in 1992.
Family: Donald and Barbara Porter of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; Richard Porter of Columbiana; and Margaret and Tom Jones of Powell. Also, 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Siblings: Sisters Ann Goss of Chardon and Betty Yakovac of Harlingen, Texas, both in their 90s. Six other siblings are deceased.
Affiliations: A member of Boardman United Methodist Church.
Hobbies: Bowled with Christian Women's League until April 2003 at Camelot Lanes, where she bowled 172 in her final game at the age of 971/2.
Celebrations: A family reception was held in her honor Aug. 20 at Blackburn Home in Poland, where she has been a resident for two years.
