XHUDSON -- St. Mary Church was the setting at 2 p.m. July 16 as the marriage of Erin Samuels and Michael Wilson, both of 963 Fieldstone Drive, Kent, was solemnized by the Rev. Damian Ference and the groom's cousin, Monsignor Nicholos Mitolo.
A reception was held at Hilton Garden Inn, Twinsburg, to honor the daughter of Michael and Rita Samuels, 7325 Lacosta Drive, and the son of Michael and Mary Wilson, 51 Gilbert Ave., Niles.
After a honeymoon at St. Lucia, the couple live in Kent.
Silver embroidery, bugle beads and rhinestones enhanced the corset-style bodice, hemline and semicathedral train of the bride's strapless A-line gown of ivory satin. She wore an heirloom necklace.
Becky Warner was the honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Kate Boucek, Ginelle Buda, Chrystie Reep, Mary Suchy and the groom's sister, Carrie McKinley.
The duties of best man were shared by Larry Wilson, the groom's brother, and Donnie Nicholl, and groomsmen were Matt Bailey, Jason Cole, Rich Platt, Bryan Richards and Tom Townley.
The bride graduated from Ohio University in Athens with a bachelor's degree in communications and the University of Akron with a bachelor's in education. She is a second-grade teacher with Nordonia Hills City Schools in Sagamore Hills.
The groom is an accounting coordinator with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Westlake. He holds a bachelor's in business administration and a master's in economics from Youngstown State University.
