Willich-Takas wedding date is announced

XPOLAND -- The engagement and September wedding plans for Melissa Willich, 2196 Renwick Drive, and Daniel Takas, 8156 Southern Blvd., Boardman, are being announced by the bride-elect's parents, Phillip and Beverly Willich, also of 2196 Renwick Drive.
Dennis and Rita Takas, 910 Dewey Ave., New Castle, Pa., are the parents of the future groom.
The couple will exchange nuptial vows during an open ceremony that will take place at 1 p.m. Sept. 17 at Columbiana Church of Christ. Their reception will be held by invitation in the church fellowship hall.
Miss Willich graduated from Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tenn., with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is an accountant with Vallourec and Mannesmann Star, LP, in Youngstown.
Mr. Takas, a security officer with Lockheed Martin in Akron, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.
