Paving won't interfere with school route

CANFIELD -- Paving projects that began Wednesday in Canfield are expected to take about a week, said city manager Charles Tieche.
The projects began with grinding along the curbs. Streets affected include Canterbury Court, Montgomery Drive, Neff Drive, Glenview Road, Lakhani Lane and Russo Avenue.
Tieche said the paving should be done by Aug. 26 if the weather is good and there are no complications.
He said Glenview, the main road to C.H. Campbell Elementary School, should be finished by the time school starts Sept. 6.
Butch and McCree Paving are doing the work at a cost not to exceed $125,000.
