ATHLETIC GROUPS
XMcDonald Sideliners will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday in the high school weight room. Anyone interested in becoming a member is welcome to attend.
CLASSES
XCampbell Memorial High School June and January Classes of 1945 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday for lunch at the Landmark Restaurant, Market Street, Boardman. Guests are welcome. CLUBS
XAmerican Hungarian Club, Donald Avenue, Youngstown, will hold a business meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the clubhouse. Prior to the meeting, a friendship gathering will be held at 6. Grilled hamburgers will be served; those attending should take a casserole. Preparations will be made for the group's upcoming Heritage Day on Sept. 11 and sale of stuffed cabbage rolls on Oct. 15.
XMcDonald Parents of Performing Arts will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.
XOhio Cultural Alliance is accepting reservations until Sept. 7 for a meeting to be held at 6 p.m. Sept. 13 at Fellows Riverside Gardens, 123 McKinley Ave., Youngstown. Music will be provided by a jazz group from Youngstown State University, and a catered meal will be served. A membership is $25, and the cost for each meeting is $11 for paid up members and $16 for nonmembers. Sends checks, payable to the alliance, and reservation forms to OCA, P.O. XWarren Women's Connection will sponsor a "Dress Up Day" luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 12 at Aulizio's Banquet Center, 4395 Youngstown-Warren Road. Free nursery will be available. Shirley James will present costumes for all occasions, and guest speaker Nancy Williams will present "You Are Priceless and Can Live Above Your Circumstances." The cost is $10 including tax and tip. XYoungstown Women's Connection will hold a meeting at noon Sept. 13 at the Italian American Banquet Center, 115 S. Meridian Road. The guest speaker and musician will be Nancy Williams. VETERANS
XNewton Falls VFW Post 3332 and its auxiliary will hold an annual picnic from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at the post home, 433 Arlington Road. The picnic is free to all post members and their immediate families. Guests ages 14 and up are asked to pay a $4 donation. Members are asked to take desserts only.
