Vliek-Chumita wedding to be at university chapel

XBOARDMAN -- Daniel A. and Joann M. Chumita, 2325 Hunter's Ridge, are announcing the engagement of their son, Daniel J. Chumita, 1700 E. Centre Ave., Portage, Mich., and Tara Lynn Vliek, a daughter of Ted and Debbie Vliek, 122 Bacon Road, Portage.
Miss Vliek attended Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Mich., and is attending Kalamazoo Valley College in Portage.
Mr. Chumita, a graduate of Youngstown State University, is employed at R.J.O. Mechanical in Portage.
The couple will extend invitations for their 4 p.m. Oct. 1 wedding at Kanley Chapel on the campus of Western Michigan University, and for their reception at Moose Lodge 88, Portage. A postnuptial reception will also be held by invitation on Oct. 29 at the Lockwood House.
