Wolves Club to sponsor golf outing

The contest will be two-best-ball-of four-shamble.
LIBERTY -- Golfers will have an opportunity to compete for a variety of prizes during an annual golf outing to be sponsored by the Wolves Club Den VI of Youngstown.
The event will be held Aug. 29 at Youngstown Country Club, 1402 Country Club Drive, and will be in the form of a two-best-ball-of-four shamble contest.
The outing will feature lunch and registration at 11:30 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Included in the admission price are a cart and green fees, a dinner, open bar, prizes and an awards presentation.
The cost for the entire day is $150 per person, and tickets are $75 for the dinner and open bar.
The club, a nonprofit Italian-American fraternal organization, promotes higher education by annually awarding scholarships to youths of the community who wish to attend Youngstown State University. Proceeds will benefit that scholarship fund.
