XMcDONALD -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place at 2 p.m. July 9 as Stephanie Ludwig, 429 Pennsylvania Ave., and Nicholas Gallo, 338 Park Ave., were united in marriage at Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
The Rev. Daniel Kulesa officiated at the wedding for the daughter of William and Doreen Ludwig, also of 429 Pennsylvania Ave., and the son of Natale and Sandy Gallo, 942 Parkside Place.
The couple accepted congratulations during a reception at the Davis Center in Mill Creek Park, Youngstown, before leaving on a Hawaiian cruise. They live at the groom's address.
The bride's strapless ivory ballgown was enhanced with pearls, crystals and rum-pink embroidery.
Black gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Rachel Ludwig, and the bridesmaids, Angela Gallo, the groom's sister-in-law; Natalie Schadl, his sister; Courtney Trimacco; Kelli Chicone; and Jenny Green. Junior bridesmaid was the bride's cousin, Abby Riffee.
Nathan Gallo served as best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Rick Lombardo, the groom's cousin; Tom Schadl, his brother-in-law; Lee Evans; Billy Ludwig, brother of the bride; and Doug Costanzo.
The bride and groom graduated from Youngstown State University with bachelor's degrees, hers in early childhood education and his in business marketing. She is a substitute teacher with area schools, and he is director of sales with Steel and Alloy Utility Products.
