Outing is fund-raiser for memorial

Among the prizes golfers will have an opportunity to win is an H2 Hummer.
LAKE MILTON -- Austintown Beautification Committee is sponsoring a 911 Memorial Golf Outing to be held Sept. 11 at the Olde Dutch Mill Golf Course, 2745 Grandview, Lake Milton.
Proceeds from the event will be applied toward the construction of a 911 memorial in Austintown.
The event will begin with coffee and donuts to be served at 8 a.m., and play will begin at 9 with a shotgun start. Included in the day's event will be dinner and the presentation of awards at approximately 2 p.m.
Golfers will have an opportunity to vie for such prizes as an H2 Hummer and a diamond ring. Prizes to be awarded for a hole-in-one on the par 3's will include Hawaiian and Las Vegas vacations, airline tickets and a camcorder.
The cost for the entire day is $75 per golfer and includes a cart and green fees. Dinner-only tickets are $30, and hole sponsorships are available for $100.
