XSHARPSVILLE, Pa. -- Nuptial vows were exchanged at 3 p.m. July 9 in the presence of the Rev. Willis Kearns as Lisa Cannon, 474 Hamburg Road, Transfer, Pa., and Kristopher Semenovich, 81 Mayflower Drive, Boardman, were united in marriage at First Presbyterian Church.
A reception was held at the Rosemont in Sharon, Pa., to honor the daughter of Ray and Cheryl Cannon, of the Transfer address, and the son of John and Maureen Bartolo, 13997 Avalon East Drive, Noblesville, Ind.
The couple have returned from a honeymoon at Mayan Rivera, Mexico, and live at the groom's address.
Pearls, rhinestones and crystal beading enhanced the bride's strapless white satin ballgown. It featured a corset-style back and a cathedral train.
The honor attendant was Amy Cannon, sister of the bride, and bridesmaids were Evangela Hazimihalis, Haylee Frank, Jaime Cech, Michele Brown, Denise Delfraino and the groom's sister, Sarah Bartolo. Flower girl was the groom's cousin, Molly McConnell.
Serving as best man was Martin Drews, and groomsmen were Brandon Davis, Mark Krichbaum, Brian Fleet, Rob Rivello, Adam Stryffeler and the groom's brother, Joe Bartolo.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a degree in middle-school education, the bride is a sixth-grade teacher with Summit Academy School, Youngstown.
The groom, a network engineer with Cboss Internet in Boardman, is pursuing a degree from the University of Phoenix.
