Hope awards to be presented to five judges during celebration



The recipients will be honored at The Georgetown.
BOARDMAN -- Five area judges will be honored during a Hope Has a Home awards celebration to be held by Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic Sept. 20 at The Georgetown.
This year's honorees are Judge Michael A. Bernard of Girard Municipal Court, Judge Theresa Dellick of Mahoning County Juvenile Court, Judge Robert A. Douglas Jr. of Youngstown Municipal Court; Judge John M. Durkin of Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas and Judge Scott D. Hunter of Mahoning County Canfield Court.
The honorees will each receive a Hope Award in recognition of their efforts to make treatment available to adults and adolescents with legal problems resulting from alcohol and drug abuse.
The event will begin with a reception at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 and a program. The cost is $100 for patron seating, which includes name listing in the program, and $75 for individual seats. Corporate sponsorship opportunities and program ads are also available.
