Rices receive special blessing at 50th celebration

XCOLUMBIANA -- A 50th anniversary celebration was held April 30 at Grace United Church of Christ in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. Rice of Columbiana.
Mr. Rice and the former Donna L. Dicken were married April 30, 1955, at the New Waterford Methodist Church. Officiating was the Rev. William Thomas, who offered a special blessing at their anniversary celebration.
Hosting the event were the couple's children, Richard and Carol Rice, Christal and Wayne Bonsall, and Madawna and Jeff Bacho, all of Columbiana. There are also four grandchildren in the family.
Mr. Rice was employed at Poland Country Side Furniture before working at Sheely's furniture for 26 years. He retired in 1991. Mrs. Rice is a homemaker.
