Plants anniversary celebrated at party in Austintown

XYOUNGSTOWN -- Charles and Edna (Rosen) Plants, 2434 Cherry Hill, were honored April 30 at a party held at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Cindi and Jim Pantea, Austintown, on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Also hosting were the couple's other children, John and Mary Rosen, Barb Hays and Bob Hankey, Cheyrle and Chuck Plants, Ken and Pam Plants, all of Youngstown, and Rick and Jen Plants of Cuyahoga Falls. Also attending were their 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The Plants were married April 30, 1955, in Winchester, Va.
Mrs. Plants retired in 1984 from Jamie's Restaurant in Salem, where she was a cook.
Mr. Plants was a welder at LeeBaw Manufacturing in Canfield and retired in 1985.
