LAWYERS
YSU grad passes Fla. bar
Albert J. Sauline III, a 1996 honors graduate of Hubbard High School, has passed the Florida bar exam.
Atty. Sauline received his bachelor of arts degree in political science, with minors in criminal justice and sociology, graduating magna cum laude in December 2000 from Youngstown State University.
He earned his law degree from Ohio State University's Moritz College of Law in May 2004. While attending OSU, he was president of two student organizations. He passed the Ohio bar exam in July 2004 and the Florida bar exam in February.
Sauline is an assistant state attorney for the 14th Judicial Circuit of Florida. He lives in Panama City Beach.
He is the son of former Hubbard Mayor Albert Sauline Jr. and his wife, Marcia. He is the grandson of Ann Sauline, and the late former Hubbard Mayor Albert Sauline Sr., Hubbard, and Grace Moorhead and the late William Moorhead, Youngstown.
SCOUTS
Two girls good as gold
Two Boardman girls, Caitlin Rowland and Jenna Schell, have received the Gold Award, Girl Scouting's highest honor.
Rowland, the daughter of Daniel and Patricia Rowland, is a freshman at Ohio Northern University.
She was a member of Troop 426 and has been involved in Scouting for 12 years.
For her Gold Award Project, Rowland compiled footage of the various day camps held by the Girl Scouts of Lake to River Council. She then edited it into a promotional video for younger girls to view.
Her other Scout awards and honors include the Silver Award and the Marian Medal.
She is a 2004 Boardman High School graduate and was a member of the marching and symphonic bands, orchestra and jazz band. She participated in the Youth Chamber Orchestra, and the Stambaugh Youth Chamber Band. At college, she participates in the marching band, wind ensemble, symphonic band and pep band. She is a music education major.
Schell, the daughter of Rich and Joan Schell, is a senior at Cardinal Mooney High School, Youngstown.
She also is a member of Troop 426, which is led by her mother.
She has been a member of Girl Scouting for 12 years.

Her other Scout awards and honors include the Silver Award, the Marian Medal and the Community Service Bar.
Schell is on the Celebrate Team and is a eucharistic minister at St. Charles Church, Boardman. She is a member of National Honor Society, treasurer of the speech team, yearbook editor, a basketball statistician, and stage manager for the Theater Club.
