"Hemp Weaving." Weave a hemp necklace for yourself or a friend at Main Library, 4 p.m. May 28.
"Flower Power." Surprise your mom on Mother's Day! Guess the total number of flower seeds in our display packets and win a live plant plus a basket of gardening supplies at Boardman, May 1-5, during library hours. Enter as many times as you wish.
"Friendship Bracelets." Come to the library and make a friendship bracelet for your friend or yourself at Austintown, 6:30 p.m. May 10.
"May Play." Come relax at the library and play some games at West, 4 p.m. May 18.
"Pundiddles." Identify the riddles and win a prize. Contest sheets are available all month at Canfield & amp; Sebring, during library hours.
"Ductigami." Sensational duct tape crafts. Make the famous duct tape wallet at Poland, 4 p.m. May 11.
"Go Fly a Kite." Make your own delta-style kite at Brownlee Woods, May 10; Campbell, May 23; and Struthers, May 18. All at 4 p.m.
"How High Can You Go?" (Stacking cookies that is.) Back by popular demand, come in and see if you can take home the prize at East, 4:30 p.m. May 5; and South, 4:30 p.m. May 17.

"Lunch & amp; Learn at the Library: Through My Grandfather's Eyes - Japanese Immigrants and American Internment, 1941-45." Dr. Gail Y. Okawa of YSU's English Dept. will share the experience of her grandfather, a Christian minister, and other Japanese immigrants from Hawaii, who were imprisoned in mainland internment camps by the U.S. Department of Justice during World War II.
