Ditatas celebrate 60th anniversary



Mr. and Mrs. Anthony J. Ditata Sr. of Youngstown are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary today with their family.
The couple were married May 1, 1945, at Immaculate Conception Church.
Mr. Ditata worked at Automatic Sprinkler and Standard Steel and retired from Lake Park Steel in 2001. He served in the Army during World War II, and received two Purple Hearts, a Bronze Star, a Combat Infantry Badge and a Presidential Unit Citation.
Mrs. Ditata, the former Helen Struble, is a homemaker.
Their children are Mr. and Mrs. Anthony (Donna) Ditata Jr. of Struthers and Robert Ditata of Youngstown. They also have two grandchildren.
