XHUBBARD -- San Selipe, Mexico, was the honeymoon destination of Adrian Rubio and his bride, the former Caryn Hileman, following their April 16 wedding at the Hubbard Church of the Nazarene.
The Rev. Richard Steinleichner presided at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Richard and Darlene Snyder, 6963 Pine Grove Drive, and Lance C. Hileman, Juliet, Ill., and the son of Arturo and Alicia Rubio, 1131 Paseo Camino Real, Calexico, Calif.
A reception was held afterward at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Youngstown.
The bride wore a white, strapless, princess-style gown enhanced with small beaded pearls and jewels.
Black satin gowns with pink trim were worn by the bride's sister and maid of honor, Ashley Snyder of Hubbard, and the bridesmaids, Leah Lemmon of Masury; Dana Drissen of Hubbard, cousin of the bride; Aide Rubio of Calexico, sister of the groom; and Dr. Corrilynn Hileman of San Francisco, the bride's sister-in-law. Flower girl was Alexis Charles of Girard, her cousin.
Serving as best man was Julio Saucedo of Mexicali, Mexico, and Dr. Craig Hileman of San Francisco, brother of the bride, was groomsman.
The bride, who earned a degree in elementary education at Mount Vernon Nazarene College, is a substitute teacher for Imperial United School District, Imperial, Calif. The groom is a construction worker for Sundance Personnel in El Centro, Calif., while attending Imperial Valley College. The couple will live in Calexico.
