Music lovers ought to be delighted with the two tribute acts coming to Cleveland.
First, there's "Slight Return: The Music of Jimi Hendrix and Gil Evans," w/Howard Johnson (tuba, saxophone), Vernon Reid (guitar), Jazz Unit, 8 p.m., Tri-C Metro Auditorium, Cleveland. Gen Xers have their own supergroups now. Audioslave is right up there with Velvet Revolver in capturing the attention of audiences. Audioslave will be performing with special guest Jonny Polonsky, 8 p.m., Agora Theatre, Cleveland. The show is sold out.
