'Wicked' to appear in Pittsburgh next year for PNC Broadway



PITTSBURGH -- The Tony Award winner "Wicked" makes its Pittsburgh premiere next year at the Benedum Center, as a part of the PNC Broadway in Pittsburgh 2005-06 season.
The show runs Feb. 22 through March 5, 2006. PNC Broadway in Pittsburgh also will feature the Pennsylvania debut of "The Radio City Christmas Spectacular" Nov. 10-Dec. 4 at Benedum Center; and the return of "The Phantom of the Opera" Jan. 4-29 at Benedum Center.
Rounding out the season are "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," starring Broadway veteran Patrick Cassidy and Amy Adams of "American Idol," Oct. 11-16 at Heinz Hall; "Annie," April 11-16, 2006, at Heinz Hall; and "Golda's Balcony," April 25-May 7, 2006, at the Byham Theater, starring four-time Emmy Award winner Valerie Harper.
