Fund-raiser will benefit 4-year-old cancer patient

MINERAL RIDGE -- A benefit fund has been established to help pay the medical expenses of 4-year-old Josef Caruso.
Josef, the son of Anthony and Stephanie Caruso, has been diagnosed with orbital rhabdomyosarcoma, a form of cancer usually found in children under age 15. The disease is treated by a combination of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation.
A benefit fund has been established in his name to be used to defray medical expenses not covered by insurance.
Donations can be made at any Farmers National Bank, payable to the Josef Caruso Benefit Fund or mailed to Farmers National Bank, 3826 Main St., Mineral Ridge 44440.
Anyone interested in volunteering time, goods or services for future fund-raisers for Josef Caruso should contact Jennifer Cambouris at (330) 783-0418 or jacambou@zoominternet.net.
