BINGO AND CARD PARTIES

FASHION SHOWS
XThe 19th annual Feast of Salads and Style Show, sponsored by the Tabernacle Baptist Church Nurses Guild Ministry, will be held at 5 p.m. April 30 at S.P. XFriends of the Poland Library will have Fashion Forward 2005 Summer Trunk Show at 11 a.m. May 3 at Poland Library Meeting Room. Cost is $8 and includes lunch. FUND-RAISERS
XTickets are being sold for the Eastern Regional Kidney Foundation's Spring Fling to be held April 23 at the Davis Education and Visitor Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek MetroParks in Youngstown. The evening will include a wine taste, gourmet food stations, an art exhibit, silent and Chinese auctions, music and desserts. Proceeds will benefit kidney patients in Mahoning, Columbiana and Trumbull counties. Cost is $50 per person, and tickets can be purchased by calling (330) 783-1480.
XYoungstown Alumnae Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha will host its sixth annual Crown Classic Bowl-a-Thon from 4 to 10 p.m. April 30 at Jillian's in the Southern Park Mall. Proceeds will be donated to breast cancer research through the ZTA Foundation. The event will include a Chinese auction of items donated by area businesses.
RAFFLES
XGreenville Area Preservation Association is sponsoring the raffle of a 350-watt, 36-volt electric scooter at the Greenville Days of Celebration. XWestminster Presbyterian Church's 49th annual used book sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. April 27 and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 28-29 at the church, 119 Stadium Drive, Boardman, across from Southern Park Mall.

XAdult Education of Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, Canfield, is sponsoring an administrative assistant breakfast or luncheon April 26 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. The breakfast session will be held from 8:15 to 11:00 a.m., and the luncheon from 11:15 to 1:30 p.m. Nationally recognized humorous and motivational speaker, Karen Vadino, will entertain at 9:15 and 12:15.
