XLOWELLVILLE -- Victory Christian Center was the setting at 5:30 p.m. March 11 for the marriage of Jessica Leigh Takas, daughter of Dennis and Rita Takas, all of 910 Dewey Ave., New Castle, Pa., and Brian Thomas Delvaux, son of Tom and Judy Delvaux, all of 3785 Columbiana Road, New Springfield.
The Rev. Joe Thomas officiated, and a reception followed at The Georgetown in Boardman.
After a honeymoon in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, the couple are living at 13777 Beaver-Springfield Road, New Springfield.
The bride wore a strapless, A-line gown.
Attending as maid of honor was Kristen Shepherd of New Castle, and bridesmaids were Tara Takas of Ellwood City, Pa., the bride's sister-in-law; Hannah Mihalyov of DuQuoin, Ill.; Alicia Delvaux of New Springfield, the groom's sister; and Mallory Scholvile of Girard. They wore black dresses.
Robert Delvaux of New Springfield was best man for his cousin, and groomsmen were Ed Conner of New Springfield; Nathan Takas of Ellwood City, the bride's brother; and Matt Kale and Jason Vinkler, both of New Middletown.
The bride, who is attending Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa., is employed as a teller at First National Bank in Boardman.
The groom works as a preloader at United Parcel Service in Boardman.
