GUEST LUNCHEON Federation program to feature portrayal of Dorothy Fuldheim

The Lakewood performer will bring to life the feisty TV journalist.
CANFIELD -- A one-woman show portraying renowned Cleveland journalist Dorothy Fuldheim will be presented by Carol Starre-Kmiecik of Lakewood when the Youngstown Area Federation of Women's Clubs holds its annual Spring Tea Time and Guest Day luncheon at noon Wednesday at the Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road.
About the performer
Starre-Kmiecik does the writing, acting and producing for Famous American Women, a one-woman production company that portrays the life stories of famous women, including Amelia Earhart, Susan B. Anthony, Clara Barton, Clare Booth Luce, Mother Elizabeth Seton and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
In portraying her signature character, Starre-Kmiecik uses red hair and the trademark Fuldheim feistiness to bring to life the Cleveland broadcaster, commentator, writer and interviewer known as "The First Lady of Television News."
Starre-Kmiecik, who has been performing on stage for over 25 years, has a bachelor's degree in speech and theatre arts from Baldwin-Wallace College and studied improvisational theatre for two years at Chicago's Second City.
