ABC's John Stossel to speak at Kent State



KENT -- Award-winning network news correspondent John Stossel will speak at 8 p.m. today at the Kent State University Student Center Ballroom. Stossel was named co-anchor of ABC News' 20/20 in May 2003. He joined the highly acclaimed newsmagazine in 1981 and began doing one-hour prime-time specials in 1994. Stossel also is featured in a weekly segment titled "Give Me a Break," now a New York Times best seller. The short commentaries take a skeptical look at a wide array of issues. Stossel has received 19 Emmy Awards and has been honored five times for excellence in consumer reporting by the National Press Club.
