No arrests in fire
WARREN -- Township police say no arrests have been made in connection with a fire on the grounds of Warren Hills Landfill.
The blaze started around 12:30 a.m. Friday in an area of Warren Hills that contains construction debris, employees said. Employees were able to extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported.
Employees told police that when they responded to the fire they saw a man near the blaze. The man fled, but employees took down his license plate number and gave it to police. Lt. Don Bishop said he talked to the man and he denied starting the fire. "He was near the area, but I don't believe he had anything to do with the fire," Bishop said.
