Medical students get residency placements

ROOTSTOWN -- One hundred senior medical students from the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine were placed in residencies through the National Resident Matching Program, which pairs medical facilities with graduating medical students.
Fifty-three percent of NEOUCOM's class of 2005 graduates will stay in Ohio for their residencies.
NEOUCOM is a state medical school with a combined B.S./M.D. program with Youngstown State University, the University of Akron and Kent State University.

UStacy Slaven of Lowellville (West Res Care, Youngstown).
UDavid St. John of Beloit (matched with Aultman Hospital, Canton).
