HISTORICAL SOCIETY High tea to be served at Strock house

Reservations for seatings at noon, 2 and 4 p.m. are required for the fund-raiser.
AUSTINTOWN -- Members of Austintown Historical Society are busy preparing for their 11th annual High Tea to be held April 30 and May 1 at the Strock Stone House, 7171 Mahoning Ave.
Cost is $12 per person. Reservations are necessary for the seatings at noon, 2 and 4 p.m., at which time bone china cups, saucers and plates will complement lace tablecloths and silver for a variety of teas and coffee, finger sandwiches, scones and pastries traditionally served during a high tea.

Also planned
After each seating, there will be a free tour of the house, which is designated as a National Historic Landmark.
There will also be a basket raffle each day. Cost is $1 for one ticket, $3 for five and $5 for 15. Winner need not be present.
